Others (humanitarian)

We engage ourselves to contribute to promote our economy through sustainable tourism.

Madagascar is known for its unique and rich wildlife, but we could not dissociate this to the sad reality of economical weakness. We taste2wildlife team, engage ourselves to contribute to promote our economy through sustainable tourism. These tours are dedicated to combine travel with humanitarian contribution. We believe that many travelers wish to contribute to social action for a once in a lifetime trip: visit to some association taking care of children, orphanages, schools, or remote medical center, visit to those villages where people are starving and yet welcome you with their friendly smile.

These children, who live in streets, are kept out of any education system. Their precarious living predisposes them to small crimes (petty theft), simply allowing them to survive. Incarcerated, they are waiting for their judgment in prison, due to lack of enough judicial personnel. The living conditions in prison are extremely difficult: one meal per day, overcrowded wards, poor sanitation…
Taking into account all these causes, and believing that each child should have a bright future, MIRANA –TSIKY center could not remain indifferent to that.
